How long do you think would have to travel 250 miles on bike?
The reason I ask is because I will be raising money for Sport Relief next time. I live on the outskirts of Middlesbrough and I want to finish my journey in Trafalgar Square. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks to all who has helped me the information you have provided to help me a lot in my quest to get from my home town to London in one day. I have hope to do between 15 and 18 hours and will test my ability to the fullest I have just under a year to train my self up for the challenge so I hope to do so. Thanks again!
If you drive constantly at 25 mph, a speed which is manageable, will arrive in 10 hours. However, you are required to stop for food, rest, bathing, traffic caused by other cyclists, etc. I do not know how he is physically fit, but most likely probably be tired at some point and will not be able to maintain a steady 25 mph so let's say that you can probably do anywhere from 13 to 20 hours. Probably you have to stop somewhere during the night. Have fun!
