Asian Spice
I have an Asian-inspired apartment and am looking for cheap do-it-yourself ideas to spice up.?
I have a red sofa and a two seater settee and a large yellow paper umbrella in Asia and some Asian art on the walls, but I know some things cheaper than I can do to spice it up and putting everything together.
Buy some bamboo plants and / or some bonsai plants. Wal Mart sells both of these, although not the best. Having a source water in a small room. I forget the term for it, but the combination of water and plants brings a kind of peace to an area. One such source is connected to the wall, only to provide the constant sound of running water, I would. Buy some books for your coffee table. I love China, and Barnes & Noble has currently several for under $ 15. They are books of Nice, with photographs from around the country.
