Gardenia Scented
Flowers good for wedding hair?
Hello, I'm thinking that when I get married I would have real flowers in my hair. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but nobody knows what kind of flowers would be good for this? Obviously have to be strong type and would have to look good without it in water for long periods of time. Any ideas? I like Plumeria, gardenia (perhaps too strong a smell good?), And maybe roses, but any other suggestions? Or is it nobody knows if these are okay to use? Thanks:)
You're on the right path and would not be very fragrant gardenia. The big trend right now is to use a flower large (such as a gardenia) in one side of the head instead of a wreath. It seems more modern, but if you want to continue the tradition, have a flower show examples of different styles he or she can create. Just tell them what kind of flowers you like (Plumeria, gardenia and roses) and I am pretty sure I can design something that absolutely will love it. Stephanotis (note that this is a very expensive flower but has a lovely fragrance and can withstand quite well), orchids, lilies flowers Stargazer and even ranunculus would be very strong (with the ones you mentioned) for helmets.
