A brief history of Greek Sorority
On 1 sorority began at Wesleyan Female College in 1750 as a private club for women. It was called the Adelpha Society. A couple of years later, another society was made on the same campus and a contest began. Those who were not known as guilds of the period, however, had become the name later. As a matter of fact, it was considered before a brotherhood fraternity, but the word "fraternity" did not fit with an organization that is totally feminine and as the word fraternity continued. On 1 Greek sorority was named Pi Beta Phi.
And then in 1871 the theme was popular quickly. But today, the original run was significantly contrary to the ground. In 1872 Kappa Alpha Theta was established and is considered the official brotherhood 1 women, while Gamma Phi Beta was identified a "brotherhood" in 1882. An adviser Greek fraternity came up with the phrase, since it was more appropriate for women.
And that is how stock brotherhoods. Even today there day and there are plenty of houses in all campuses across the country. It is very popular among young people at the point of some homes and even more popular for girls of former fraternity members to undertake the same house. The members consider the legacies and independence be allowed in despite having to go through the humility of the tip. Today Rush is like a game of truth or dare. The promises have to do all sorts of things to be accepted into the brotherhood, as well as being virtually a slave to older sisters. No garnish made specifically for fraternity sororities. And, no fraternity clothing designed specifically for fraternities.
Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity is a woman of the university, although the system infrastructure has been developed as early as 1869, the Convention of 1876 voted October 13, 1870 as Founders Day. The Kappa Kappa Gamma wins among major guilds Greek letter.
Kappa Kappa Gamma is the fraternity of women, as stated before the term of brotherhood "came into practice. However, since it allows only in females, is typically regarded as a brotherhood. Kappa Kappa Gamma also known as "KKG" and "Kappa".
Sororities and fraternities are very famous today on college campuses that give new students a place to belong.
