Toppers hermit crab tank and heating?
I know people keep saying to get a plexi glass topper, but I looked all parts of the pet store and Walmart, and could not find any type of glass tank Topper. What are some alternative covers / Toppers Hermies suitable for? I also was considering a heat lamp for my hermit crabs and put on a timer to dry, but it would heat. Do I have to go inside and outside every half hour? hour? or leave it all the time?
I have a heating mat hermit crabs. Attaches to the bottom of the cage. It was recommended that I go with a heat lamp for them. I just bought a bigger tank for them and could not find a big enough plexi topper. I am using a screen Topper and heat and moisture is good, but like I said I use a heat mat and I also have a humidifier in it.
