Lapland – the most attractive holiday winter
Lapland is the name of a region in northern Europe which belongs to Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia and is traditionally inhabited by the Sami people. Today, the northernmost province of Finland officially carries the name of Lapland. Similarly, the province northern Sweden, although administratively divided between two counties, named for Lapland. Lapland is located in Northern Europe and includes the northern part of Scandinavia and the Kola Peninsula in Russia.
The Swedish Lapland is known as "Europe's Last Great Wilderness" and is located near the Arctic Circle, with breathtaking views and beautiful countryside zero. As a tourist can enjoy the various activities of Lapland, such as mountaineering, hiking and downhill skiing, some fishing by a set of quiet forests. You can snuggle under reindeer skins in a dog sled and see magical dance of the aurora borealis in the sky. For those who have a passion for fishing, ice fishing or tourism Nordic are good choices. The coast offers great options, as a secret cove with a beach of shallow waters. You can paddle a kayak in silence from one island to another, or enjoy a swim under the midnight sun.

Another special attraction is the village of ice with his Jukkasjarvi Ice Hotel has been re-built every year since 1989. As the hotel melts in summer and is rebuilt in the winter, never more than six months old. Within the hotel you will find an art gallery, ice bar, cinema and chapel. The Ice Church is a room devoted to snow and ice which religious services, weddings and christenings take place. Lapland Safaris course is famous for dog sledding and snowmobiling, incredible adventures in the Arctic wilderness.
