Moroccan cooking, but the sauce that is good to use?
Moroccan cooking something called cigarettes. These start with the meat minced beef (or lamb) cooked in a pan with Moroccan spices and eggs, minced onion and plenty of chopped parsley, salt and pepper. Same (each separately) is wrapped / rolled small cut three sheets of filo pastry butter to form cigar shaped and sized rolls are cooked in the oven for 25 minutes after of being brushed tops with butter first. A beautiful dish but definitely needs a sauce or something to dip into. What do you suggest please? ? I was thinking about salsa sweet pepper, tomato sauce or sour cream, but hope that something better
Normally not use a sauce for cooking, but prefer to have a side of yogurt and vegetables fresh cut or a salad. I like to make a Mexican tomatillo sauce with my food but ….!!!
