History of raspberry plants
According to Luther Burbank, who studied and hybrid raspberries and blackberries more than any other horticulturalist, and wrote its classic 8 volume treatise on small fruits, nuts and Improvement in 1921, the red raspberry plant cultivated in Europe for centuries, growing wild in Greece Spain and the north of Norway to Sweden.
