Candle Peppermint
How do I get rid of the smell of peppermint oil?
My neighbor decided to use a bottle of essential oil of cotton balls on the ceiling tiles, under our apt. The smell is horrible! Its so strong that my husband sent an ambulance to the hospital emergency room! He had a bad reaction to it. now must have an inhaler and still having problems. Now she can not sleep in our bedroom, or staying too long in our living room. I have headaches. Anyone have any idea of what we can do to counteract the strong smell of peppermint in the house? We have used scented candles smell as used for cig. smoke. help, but not enough. We need our own oil to counteract the odor, at least we can live in our house. what oil could suggest someone to help, without making it worse? thanks.
I do not think adding another oil to the mixture will be useful — I can buy or borrow an air purifier for a few days until the odor disappears – in the meantime – go open some windows and get a fan — I personally would be more concerned about why your neighbor did — that is a deterrent for mice …. probably wanted to put between the apartments so you do not go running to your apt …. I would like to know why my neighbor has rats …. are only a few field mice – or is there a cleaning problem down there?
