How I can participate in a chapter of Delta Sigma Theta after returning from a suspension?
I want to join Delta Sigma Theta chapter but at my school is suspended until October 2009, which is also my last year. Is it possible that I can promise the same semester as the suspension ends? If there is something I must do to ensure it happens? I mean since most of the deltas have graduated I need / be able to take action to restore Chapter?
To be honest with you, it's possible but not probable. I say this b / c just because the suspension is over, does not mean that you will have consumption of the following semester. There are a lot of work behind the scenes that must take place before you can even consider that MIP. Sorors also have to pass through extensive training and have to obtain permission from the regional director and national headquarters even before the conclusion of an emergency and / or informative. At this point, I focus on graduate school, and figure as the origin of the graduate chapter nearest where you reside after graduation. Once you find that to out, I would like to get to them, see if they have a mailing list you can join or see if they have a website so you can stay in the know about future events. Good luck to you!
