Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove snow from the roof of our house tin timber?
We have a lot of snow and ice in the roof – about 4 feet of snow and ice 2 inches at the base. I tried to paddle, hoping only to slide, but no. The ice freezes around the screw head and not moving. Is there an easier way to do this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
There is nothing I can do it safely. My suggestion for the next year is to put a tarp over the roof before the snow falls. That keep the ice adheres to the metal and protects it from the possibility of oxidation.
