On October 31, black-Druids wrapped torches having to go door to door to select humans for New Year's sacrifice to the Lord of the Dead. In exchange for the child or the child, leaving a hollow turnip with candle light shining through the face cut – a satanic counterfeit of the biblical Passover. In the party that took place on Samhain night, allegedly unleashed the demons of the night would pass over houses "marked" by the lantern carving. Families who had provided the gift or sacrifice. Please. The whole "Samhain, the Celtic Lord of the Dead" is a terribly embarrassing lack of scholarships. That has been refuted by age, and if old encyclopedias and other sources have not met, I'd recommend not using them. See some modern texts archeology acccurate if you're looking for information on what is really the Druids.
