Getting the wax after using the candle?
I was wondering if there is a way to get the wax from the jar after the candle wick has been completely exhausted? I like to keep the jars, but have no idea how to extract the wax stuck inside. And throw away the wax and the jar is looking attractive way too! God! EVERYONE DESERVES 10 POINTS! Look at all these great answers!
I have two methods: 1 – Use one of the heaters, candles. They use low heat to melt the wax. Once melted you can pour out (I pour it into a pile of paper towels, but you can use the newspaper, too) and the tone is. Or you can go to the craft store and tokens, but some metals and candle wicks and once saved a couple of candles to pour the wax into a jar and add a new wick. 2 – Put about an inch of water in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and set the bottle containing the wax in the pot. Keep the water gently over low heat and melt the wax. It is usually the jar in warm water just before boiling. I'm going to stir the wax with a toothpick or bamboo skewer to get it all melts. I used to make candles and you never want to wax in direct contact with fire if you use the stove method. That is, always put the container in the water. Do not install directly on the burner to melt wax. I could crack that. Also, be sure not to set a cold glass container in hot water. This will lead to cracking. If it's cold for some reason runs under some warm water first.
